Here is a sampling of the hundreds of people I have interacted with on the streets since March 2025.  I have interviewed several dozen on tape and posted their comments on the “Interviews” section so that the public can hear them in their own words.  99.9% of my outreach experience has been positive with only ONE person being a problem to engage with and consequently not shown here (and her name is NOT Karen :).  99.9% have been kind, gracious & appreciative for the help received. They enjoy visiting and being heard & valued like all of us do.  Videos will be uploaded to YouTube for public viewing and updated regularly as they are made.
Here is a sampling of the supplies they received–coats, hats, blankets, sleeping bags, travel pillows, underwear, socks, shoes, umbrellas, art supplies, food/water, lunch at Panda Express, Taco Bell, KFC & Chuck-A-Rama, thermal underwear, inspirational rocks, sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, folding chairs, medical supplies, hundreds of $1 & $5 bills, fidget toys, and  A PUPPY for my friend Brandie!  (her videoed response on Youtube is adorable)
Taking care of their PHYSICAL NEEDS (food/housing/clothing etc.) is paramount for survival, but EDUCATION (life-skills, coping skills, addiction-recovery principles, pro-social behavior, making & keeping goals, personal accountability, etc.), along with EMOTIONAL CONNECTION to others (trust, working through attachment disorders & abandonment issues, etc.), along with TRAUMA RECOVERY (dealing with the underlying fears, pain, anxiety, abuse, etc.) & CREATING CONDITIONS FOR CHANGE (creating vision, focusing on strengths instead of deficits, being patient, forgiving, and consistent with them, etc.) is what they need.
